Since moving to Perth, its been very rare for me to have time alone. This afternoon, my loved one and his offspring have gone out. The house is clean, my study is done, and a quick scan of the TV guide indicates that there is a Man Ray doco on SBS in about half an hour. Just enough time for me to knock up a very yummy lunch.

Life is good.

We have a new world vision sponsor child, Habtamus Eriso. He is 5, from Etheopia and his favourite game is hide and seek. He hasnt been going to school, but now will be. Last night a friend stayed over after drinking too much and vommitted on the picture of Habtamu Eriso. I'm very upset.

I just had to make a presentation to the Executive Board of the company that I work for. In my mind, in the moment, they were the most important and scary people in the entire universe. Larry LaPrise, the man who wrote The Hokey Pokey, died in his home in Idaho a couple of weeks ago. He was aged 83.

My Belle and Sebastian tickets are in the very very back row of the Perth Concert Hall.

So I just looked up some Sleater-Kinney lyrics... after reading through the lyrics to the particular song, I noticed the following on the bottom;
