Fighting in the hedges

Yesterday was an epic battle for the lilacs against the evil grapevine. I'm under no illusions that we got it all out, or even most of it, but we certainly did some damage

We had one killing our tree in the back yard. marc and I kicked massive butt and killed it. But I keep checking for it to have returned. There is another one in a neighbor's yard that is trying to wrap around the willow tree. =/
