After many weeks of waiting for the roofer to catch up with all the work thrown his way after storms, and for the shingles to come back into stock, the roof replacement started yesterday.  The guys were at the house working from (probably) 8am until pretty much sundown (still pretty close to 9pm.)  They have got to still be totally swamped to be ( Read more... )

We got two tons of Superior Trap boulders (well, rocks. Under 18") delivered the other day. They are for mhuot's current project. They are very pretty:

Yesterday was an epic battle for the lilacs against the evil grapevine. I'm under no illusions that we got it all out, or even most of it, but we certainly did some damage

Our new entertainment center is finally in to the warehouse, and we pick it up on Saturday. Certainly took them long enough, but at least they didn't extend it any further than they had already told us.
