I am devastated, my companion for the past 17 years has passed. My dear old man finally got to the point where He couldn't see, could barely hear and was unable to walk. I'm sitting here watching one of my favorite programs, Sunrise Earth. It is such a sereneishow and wonderful to meditate with. This morning's sunrise comes to me via Alaska and is in the Katmai National Park, watching the sunrise and hearing the waves from the ocean is wonderful to write by as well. Changed the bird feeder from the song bird mixture to full black thistle seeds. The feeder is now a *king of the hill* feeder for all the finches in the neighborhood. It is a joy to watch them. Bjorn is so tickled to see them instead of the sparrows, which I really didn't mind, but he did. Also went out and got a suet feeder for the chickadees ( Read more... )
