Lost (How did ABC do this to me?)

(no spoilers, please)

We just finished the 1st 4 episodes of Season two of Lost, and disks 2&3 are were shipped today (Netflix) so we should be done soon, by which point spring cleaning will be desperately needed, due to the unprecedented neglect we've shown our apartment!

Television has come a long way as an art form. I watched the first two Seasons of Lost on DVD and I much preferred being able to watch it daily at my pace to having it drawn out over a week, with weak episodes meaning further delay prior to plot advancement and character development.

Oh, definitely. If I had gotten into it on telly, I probably would have lost interest (haha) due to some of the slow episodes, and missed some nights because I forget about the day of the week a lot...at least once I'm at home.

I'm just worried because "my pace" is so damn ravenous.

Have you been watching it on Wednesdays for Season 3, or did you start too late? We're going to wait for Season 3 on DVD.

We don't have cable (I know we are neantherthals) so we bought the season on itunes. You can do this at any point.

Hrm? It's ABC, that shouldn't be a cable channel. Are you not able to get ABC over rabbit-ears broadcast?

Or maybe it's more of a brain-wave change, though they could be related.

I'm pretty sure I recall reading about brain-wave changes occuring during watching of TV -- that it's closer to a sleeping pattern than an awake one, or something, although I don't recall the details. All I know is that it prompted me to work on actively thinking harder while I was watching TV, rather than just letting it soothingly wash over me (OK, I do plenty of that, too).
