It is possible that the US will be attacked in retaliation for taking out Usama bin Ladin. We have been attacked many times in the intervening years; none have been successful. There's a fair amount of luck in this, and it remains possible

I will say, starting with the least offensive and working back, I find erecting a memorial to a suicide to be dangerous and offensive by itself. It encourages suicide in the mentally unstable in the future. We also shouldn't be celebrating people who gave up. Pity, sure. Celebrate?

The Big appellation was not intended to be favorable. It is, in many respects, a counterpart and cooperative supporter of big government.

On the one hand, it's dishonest.

On the other, them doing that? It DESTROYED his entire purpose. Those people don't feel fear when they think about him. All they feel is pity. He failed in more ways than one.
