The last few days weeks have been really great. Outside of work, that is, but I'm not talking about that today. Today is a good day.

First - and most importantly - Father's Day was wonderful this year. I netted two ties, The Hunt for Red October on DVD, and three new drawings for my desk at work. I'm going to start needing one of those digital ( Read more... )

Amazing Grace was actually pretty good. He plays golf and everything.

You should check out The Last Enemy as well, I don't think it'll be Penny's thing, but you'll probably quite like it. It's a sci-fi political thriller miniseries thing. I liked it.

Yes, we are! I've been a Bristol City supporter since I was a child so whenever their schedule takes them to this part of the country (and my work allows), we have a lads' afternoon out to the game. All the boys like it (even if Sammy prefers rugby, though he doesn't think I know that) so it's been a good thing for us to do together.
