I don't usually bother with New Year's resolutions, as they're never really kept

no, but my Texas uncle announced last night that his wife Anne-Marie is eight weeks in

no, thank goodness, but I'm still kinda reeling over losing my Granny in November 2008. Oh, and I hear Ten is on his way out...

Canada! More specifically, Québec, and it was the first time I've ever seen things like stop signs that say "ARRÊT"
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?:
I'd like to be zen more often without constantly worrying about frenemies... in fact, I'd like to rid myself of frenemies.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?:
I'm like a man with dates--I can't remember them at all. I even have trouble with my father's birthday.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?:
becoming more self-aware when it comes to friendships and learning that I have to be careful about how much my friends can influence my attitude towards anything and everyone
9. What was your biggest failure?:
treating my hallmates (especially Kat) so badly at the beginning of fall semester. I missed out on time I could have spent being awesome with people like Leigh and Kelley. Oh, and COMP 110.

I got sick every once in a while, but I'm pretty resilient.

About the same, but in a different way. I haven't started missing Joyner yet because I'm one of those people who loves recharging on my own, but I'm very excited to go back. VERY EXCITED.

Well, that one time Terrance Zdunich emailed us back... or when me and Kat stayed up till 2am trying to stalk David Tennant online, giggling and working not to fall off the futon... or one of our recent spoon trains... or that time in the car on the way back from Québec when we all started singing Die Schatten werden länger... or watching series two of Doctor Who with Tara and weeping together through Doomsday (I actually cried harder when Pete and Jackie got together than at Bad Wolf Bay)... or creating our inbred family tree on the Sims 2 last spring... or when we were watching that new Harry Potter movie and misatheredpanda leaned over and whispered "Malfoy has wet himself with blood."

the beginning of fall semester when I thought I didn't have any friends because the only people I was allowing myself to be friends with were treating me like crap and talking bad behind my back. I was missing out on so many good times with nice, happy, good people...
