Not that anyone notices.

The trip to Barbados was a bust in one sense and a great success in others. Now I KNOW I can travel alone and have a good time. Too bad I don't have the $$ to do it more often.

Once -- just once -- it would be nice to have somebody comment on a post.

It's not like anyone reads this, so I shouldn't worry about keeping it updated. But here goes. John's moved south, and the world's still turning. Dr. Simpson's been a great help (as well as a great financial drain), and so have my friends. I may have a new guy in my life (at least for now), but the less said about that, the better. My marriage has been dead for a long time, but today is the funeral. John's last day at the office. Didn't expect to feel this horrible about it. The corpse has been hanging around in various stages of decomposition since February 2005. You'd think nailing the lid on and shoving it in the ground would bring some sense of relief, but it's not. What to say? Hard to know. It's been a year (so far) for endings. My marriage ended on March 8, my mother's driving privileges ended on April 4, Katie's college career ended on May 13. There are endings still to come -- no more Chapter office as of June 3, no more General office as of November. Are there any beginnings in the cards for me? Again, ( Read more... )
