So far, the only thing all the tests found wrong was a kidney infection. Which is bad, certainly, but treatable and curable, so yay for that. So now Lily is getting a round of antibiotics, and she needs a couple more tests in a month to see if fixing this fixes everything else.
Can I just say, Pill Pockets are the best invention ever? -
Lily update
$600 in, 3 trips for more testing this week, and they know a few things that it's NOT, but have no idea what IS going on. It's not hyperthyroid, which is a mixed bag, as that's treatable, though pricey. It doesn't seem to be a heart issue, her BP is ok even when royally pissed at having more tests done. So she had her semi-annual "geriatric exam" today. For the first time, it was not good. She's lost a pound in 6 months and the vet heard a heart murmur. This may be a sign of heart disease, kidney disease or hyperthyroid problems.
