This past Saturday mum and I went to Stanley Park's Lost Lagoon (which is more technically a lake). It was a very nice day, first day of spring, warm enough not to be bundled up and no rain. What more could you ask for? I blew $10 on bird seed and peanuts and it was worth it.

I am so, so proud of Canada right now. TODAY ALONE we have kicked Russia's butt in men's hockey and won 1 Gold (women's bobsleigh), 2 silver (women's bobsleigh and speed skating) and 1 bronze (speed skating). Our ladies KICKED ASS TODAY ( Read more... )

The Winter Olympic opening ceremonies will start in mere hours. Even though I am excited to see my city and country represent itself I can't help being very sad at the news that happened up at Whistler today.

FLAME ON, CANADA!This morning the Olympic Torch came by my house and then down to the park just down the road from where mum and I live.
