Thinking about your post, I was just wondering: Suppose you would be contacted by a person in exactly the same situation as you were three and half years ago; requesting recommendation from you as a graduate of the course the person is considering to take.

What would your advise be for the person ?

I'd say don't do it. Save the money and go to a decent art school in Germany.

I learned a lot about myself, for sure. And looking back I may find that I'm heading exactly where I belong workwise. The price is high, in every way, but hey, such is life.
