So yeah, I've been keeping my mouth pretty much closed on the subject of the election.  This is partly to respect other peoples opinions where they differ from my own, and partly because of a morbid fear that a job recruiter will find me and not offer me a job due to my political affiliations!

I am safely back on british soil, wearing jeans, a cardigan, and slippers, and drinking a cup of tea.  BLISS.
