Ridiculously amazing.....you are so talented! Particularly love where Sherlock's hair meets his forehead, and the fingers....oh gosh...it's so minimalistic but all the different layers and textures and objects are instantly visible and beautiful. Laav it! :)

Thank you for the kind comments! What you describe about the look of it is exactly the effect I was going for, so I love hearing that it worked for you.

Sherlock has awesome hair to work with.

Yay, you did more! I love the simplicity of this one.

Just curious, how big is it?

I know what you mean about the trickiness of the overlapping parts. Yesterday I did a cut-out of Brett Holmes with a violin, and the violin part was haaaard.

Thank you! It's 8.75" x 8".

Another violin...great minds :-) Oh, why couldn't Holmes have played the...bongo or something.

Are you going to post it that one, too?

You're clearly smarter than me. I really should work on a larger scale like that more often. The little cuts wouldn't be so hard to make then.

I'm sure he did, being a man of many talents. XD At least he didn't play a harp. *quails at cutting tons of harp strings*

Yep, soonish. I'm doing some bookmarks now and want to get a few done first so I can put everything together in one post.
