i sewed my first quilt . Ever . like ever .
it turned out to be weird size, but it is for my mom's 52nd birthday
and moms always like things you make (they have to) . i learned a lot .

after two weeks we are finally getting internet at the house today .

did i mention that michel gondry lives on the block behind us?
he made this video for a guy that samuel calls the "french randy newman"
and its sort of true.... this was shot in my new neighborhood.

our friends from ohio came to visit last week and it was amazing .
hadley, katie, bobby, beth
(seth & his band were here for the end of the visit to play at union pool)
we ate lots of food and explored new york and laughed a lot .
