I for one wouldn't mind at all if this plot bunny grew much much bigger... especially if it ends up Jack/Lex, cos OMG *THUD*

Version of Internet? In the future?? Wouldn't it be something like what they have on Firefly? Only probably with alien content as well? Have no clue...

I was actually thinking about 1989, but possibly influenced by alien tech. I do need to give Jor-El and Lara something to have sent the messages with, in the first place, but I'll swipe that from Birthright.
