After seeing the total on our cell bill for this month I decided to look into adding texting to our plan.  We're paying a little over $10 extra, on average, for texts every month so I decided to add a $5 texting plan to both lines so that at least it won't go over that and we won't have to worrying about how many we send.  But apparently the plan ( Read more... )

When walking in heels, you should still walk heel-to-toe.  Do not just clomp the entire shoe down as if it were made of lead, or as if your ankles had seized up.  If you can't manage this, don't wear heels!

This afternoon I found myself torn between my need to get a program written before my class tonight and my kids' need to have something to do.  I needed to work uninterrupted, so my usual routine of setting them up with an activity and then moving them onto another when they got bored wasn't an option.  I also really have a problem with plopping ( Read more... )

The Fierce Beast has been freed!  The cast came off today and she's doing really, really well.  I was afraid she'd be all kinds of stiff, but she practically kicked the cast off as they were cutting it. :P  She's very happy to have freedom of movement again.  I was taken a bit by surprise by the amount of muscle tone loss- she can't even sit up on ( Read more... )
