MID-MORNING: BREAKFAST notarrowette October 13 2010, 16:25:26 UTC
Cissie's sleep-schedule is waaay off these days, but it is before noon and she is fully dressed and appearing awake... even if she really needs that coffee right about now. She grabs some cereal and said coffee and finds a table in the corner.

Iroh always eats breakfast either very early or very late - before or after the breakfast shift, respectively - and today he waited until afterwards. He passes by Cissie's table as he leaves the kitchen and smiles down at her, lifting his free hand in greeting.

"Good morning."

"Good morning!" Cissie smiles at Iroh and gives a little wave. "How are things, with the staff shortage?"

"Oh, respectably. Everyone's still getting fed, I believe." He nods across to the seat opposite Cissie's. "May I sit?"

NOON: LIBRARY notarrowette October 13 2010, 16:28:53 UTC
Cissie makes a point of making her presence known in Bela's life every day. Today this means just being in the library while her inmate's working. She's just... there, looking for a book or reading in an armchair.

And Bruce is... Chilling in the library.

Except that he doesn't ever chill. He's way too twitchy to do that. It's a thing. So what is he doing in the library if he's not just hanging around?

Well, it's certainly not to, you know. Spend more time with Bela. On the sly. Never mind there's nothing to really be on the sly from here regarding this. In fact, if Bruce was to actually thing about this from an outside, objective perspective? He'd realize how ridiculous this is. But he isn't, and thus doesn't.

So he's just. Sidling along the shelves, trying not to look sketchy and failing as hard as he possibly can. Cough.

Cissie spots you, Bruce. It's the skulking between shelves and the baseball cap and hunched shoulders and--really, it's all pretty adorable and hysterical. She watches him edge around a nearby shelf and clears her throat.

"Hey. Double-O-Seven."

He jumps at being called out, dropping the book he was pretending to read - because he's just that stealthy - and ducking his head down. Tugging the baseball cap down further on his head as he picks the book up, he finally takes a look around to see who's gone and noticed him.

"Oh, uh. Cissie, I. What are y-" A weak smile as he shrugs and keeps on making a bigger derp of himself. "Didn't know you'd be in here too, at least not right now or I'd be in a different spot to go and give you your space and everything like th--" Clamping his mouth shut to stop the babbling, he takes a breath before starting over.

"...Hi."

EARLY AFTERNOON: MOLLY'S ROOM notarrowette October 13 2010, 16:30:36 UTC
Cissie needs to visit her friend and see how she's doing now that Murphy's gone, so she makes her way to level eight and knocks on her door.

There is an explosion just as Cissie finishes knocking, followed by a loud barking. "Damn, damn DAMN!" comes Molly's voice. "Why didn't you warn me I was adding too much quicksilver? Don't give me that 'I can't talk' excuse..." The door jerks opened and a billow of smoke escapes the room into the corridor.

"Cissie!" Molly grins at her, obviously happy to see her, despite the smudges of soot on her face and in her hair. "Don't worry about the smoke--it's not toxic. I think."

Cissie leans back to try avoiding the smoke, coughing when she's not entirely successful. She raises her eyebrows at Molly, taking in her appearance. "What are you doing in there?"

She grimaces slightly. "Working on a potion for wakefulness. I think I was a little heavy-handed with the quicksilver and..." she motions vaguely behind her. "Boom." She throws a mock-glare over her shoulder. "Someone could have warned me a little better."

Mouse barks and comes into view, wagging his tail happily when he sees Cissie.

LATE AFTERNOON: CES/DECK notarrowette October 13 2010, 16:34:43 UTC
Cissie decides she needs some fresh air, so she goes up to the deck for a while. She kicks around some leaves for a while before going into the CES for a run.

[Feel free to find her on the deck or in the CES, just let me know which!]

On this particular day, the CES contained a beach, and Namor had gone there to swim alongside the dolphins. His agility was even greater than theirs, and sometimes he or a dolphin would jump out of the water. When he spotted the girl, someone he'd never seen before, Namor moved close to the shore, curious.

Cissie liked it when it was the ocean; it calmed her down. She ran along the beach for a while, then found a rocky outcropping and walked along it to the end, picking a spot to sit where she could pull her shoes off and put her feet in the water.

She looked out over the water, smiling at the sight of the dolphins... Wait a second. Was that--a person? She covered her eyes to shield them from the sun while she looked more closely. That was definitely a person, moving closer.

"Uh. Hello," she said when he came closer.

"Hello," he replied, very much at ease in the water as he effortlessly swam in place. "Do you come here often?"

LATE EVENING: FOURTH FLOOR COMMON ROOM notarrowette October 13 2010, 16:40:03 UTC
Cissie has been hiding in her room a lot lately, and frankly, she's getting tired of it. So she takes a book and parks herself in the common room.
