Tobias listened to Morgan's announcement and debated his next course of action. His father was going to FLIP when learned that Tobias had willingly accompanied his warden, but the younger Hankel considered it a far better alternative to being penned up with Charles any longer. Still, Rose seemed quite annoyed with him and that was something Tobias wanted to fix.

He glanced at Rose, hoping she was watching and approached Kaylee. "I can help if you need something with computers. I...do tech support..."

Q had no intention of being among the 'red shirts'. A term which he would actually identify with, more than most. Not because of being at risk of physical harm, but more due to feeling it was beneath him. Q did not get his hands dirty. He got others to get their own dirty for him.

Besides which, he would be a lot more useful on the technical side of things, giving him reason to move over to afore-mentioned camp. Something which caused him to mentally flashback to a certain brief flirtation with mortality, aboard the Enterprise.

"Quite the General Patton, isn't she?" He murmered of Morgan's rallying speech. Then, at Tobias' comment; "Well, I'm sure that'll be very useful if we need to call an engineer."

Tobias gave Q a somewhat annoyed expression. It seemed a bit condescending, the way he addressed him. "It's not engineering." What was his specialty, then? He tried to ignore Q, lest the man get under his skin.

Which was probably what he wanted, Tobias supposed, remembering all the journal entries he'd trolled. Wasn't this the man who'd messed with him at some point? The more Tobias looked at him, the more he realized just who stood next to him.

"You!" He suddenly cried, eyes getting wide.

"That's shiny; I'm not the best with working computers, myself, but I know how to get them running. And these things? Well -- judging from how they're grouping the wires in here, not to mention the clunky interface, I'd say this comes well before my time. I love working with antiques though!" Kaylee popped her head out from under the console to beam at Tobias, and she offered a hand to him. "I'm Kay--"

And then he noticed the only other that'd come over to their side of the room so far.

"Him? That's Q. He's my Inmate."

"Guess my body count puts me in column C," observed Rayne, grimly holstering her rifle and meandering over to where Morgan had suggested. Together with the blades, she looked more formidable than most, even though they were folded back against her arms.

The weapon was given a casual once-over, just to make sure of its operational condition. The small digital display giving a visual check of how many rounds were in the present magazine.

"Can't say I usually work as part of a group, though..."

Hearing the high pitched whistle, Namor turned around and returned to the group that he'd begun to wander off from. Then, hearing the divisions, Namor knew instantly where he should be. He was a warrior king; the avenging son. He would fight. Silently, he walked over to where Rayne now stood and looked around to see who would join them.

"Neither do I, though I have had occasion to in the past," he said in response to Rayne's comment.

Rayne still might not realise Aleera was a vampire and it was just as well too many other scents were still masking that. Nevertheless, the more wicked of the two redheads had been made aware of the 'rules', such as they were. Her like of this place had already been registered, but even she had no desire to be stranded here without prey.

Although saying nothing, she nonchelantly joined the group of those readying themselves for combat. After all, it seemed like an excuse for violence - even if she wore no armour and chose to carry nothing in the way of firearms.

Rube knew for absolute certain that he didn't belong in the technical or medical groups; that left him in the combat group - great therapy for Charlie, but bad memories for him.

He nudged his inmat and pointed to the group of "soldiers". "We're over there."

It surprised him to see one of them without armor or weapons, but he supposed it was a to-each-their-own sort of thing.

Dr. Crane joined Giselle, smiling thinly at the woman. "Your relentless optimism will work as an effective anesthesia, no doubt." Although he meant it sarcastically, he actually did sound genuine-- mainly because he doubted Giselle would have gotten it either way.

Prefect still wasn't entirely sure what they were doing here, but being with the medical group seemed like as good a place as any. He shifted from foot to foot, a nervous tension running through him. He was trying not to say much here, but the whole Idea that optimism could substitute for anesthesia bothered him. This was blatant false advertising.

He opened his mouth, then thought better of it and closed it again.

Jezebel lingered on the outskirts of the medical group-- where else could he be of use? The idea of patching mundane injuries bored him to death, but he had a feeling he'd be attending to some more... interesting maladies as things unfolded.

But for the moment, he was merely leaning against the nearest wall, idly flipping through the pages of his journal... suddenly, his eyes lit up. He pulled a feather quill from his pocket, scribbled something, and slipped the book into his shoulder bag. He glanced about, making sure no one was paying him much attention, and quietly slipped out of the room.

((OOC: He'll come back later-- I'm establishing he's part of the medical team for now :3))

Spike wasnt much for soldiering. He preferred to work alone or with several beautiful and deadly women like the Slayer Army. Spike had his armor and his gun, and he would go it alone and see where his fortunes land him, and help out where he could. Though mostly, pillage the Colony Supply bays for any interesting goods. Spike imagined he'd probably run into that sod Prefect there looking for goods or the other to sell.

Having platinum blonde hair didn't make for a very concealing feature. Morgan immediately caught sight of someone leaving the common area and she decided to risk mishearing her assignment to go follow him. "What the Hell are you doing?" she asked, very plainly, coming up behind him and crossing her arms.

Spike froze in his tracks, thinking with all the uncertainty in the air he wouldn't be noticed casually heading off on his own but, he heard a female voice and turned to her slowly. "Bloody Hell, Jane Sparrow, can't a bloke have alittle fun? Its been awhile since I could stretch my legs." Spike asked, disappointed but not upset knowing exactly what she was going to tell him, find some sods and work with them.

"Stretch em in a group, hot shot," she returned without missing a beat. "The Admiral told us not to wander off by ourselves for a reason, and while you may be a Warden let's not tempt him to start imposing the dumber rules on us too." She started back then turned to make sure he was following. "You can look out for the tech group; they're probably going to do the most moving around."
