WHO: Mal, Jayne, Kaylee, Tony, Giselle, Loki, and Rose WHERE: Dining Hall WHEN: After the fire in the kitchen is put out, I imagine WARNINGS: None that I can think of
Rose made her way to the dinning hall, trying to put any and all thought of a certain person's reappearance behind in her mind. She hadn't really talked to him yet but what she had heard from Mal and what he spewed in his journal just pissed her off even more. What the hell was he trying to pull anyway with that name?
Pushing that thought away and drawing in a breath, she saw Janye at the table and approached giving him a small smile and noticing the lack of people. She was actually early for once. Imagine that. "A bit impatient aren't you? I'm sure they'll be along." she said pulling back a seat and sitting.
He watched Rose as she walked up. She seemed nice enough, not that it really mattered to Jayne whether she was nice or not. "If you spent as long a time as me out in the Black with nothin' to eat but canned goods and protein bars, you'd be impatient too," he replied.
"Canned goods and protein bars?" she repeated with a raised eyebrow. Well that certainly didn't sound all that good. "The Black? That's--" Well it could've been one thing then again it could've been another. "Where's that? Or what is it?"
"Space," Mal replied for Jayne as he entered into the dining hall. Well, two of them were there. So long as Loki and Kaylee showed, they'd be set. He wasn't really sure if Tony would come or not, but he expected to make this a regular spectacle and so one or two missing each time wasn't a real loss. Only time everyone seemed to make it together on Serenity for a proper meal was birthdays.
Pulling out a chair, he came to sit next to Jayne, across from Rose, and offered them both a wide grin. He was happier than he'd been in awhile just being here with a crew again. It didn't really matter if they never had jobs so long as he had people to rely on and to help; it was what he had been doing since the war and come to learn he was good at it. Looking at Rose, he looked concerned for a moment. "How you been since that Doctor talk?"
