WHEN: After the fire in the kitchen is put out, I imagine

Jayne waited at the dining table impatiently. Mal had called all the crew together to eat and, so far, he was the only one there. He crossed his arms and scowled at an empty chair. "I best not be waitin' here for nothin'" he muttered to himself.
