I can remember the exact moment when I first heard of the New Kids on the Block. I was 13 years old and it was midsummer and Please Don't Go Girl was on MTV, back when they actually played videos. I had this same sort of rediscovery a couple of years ago. My sister had the entire Hangin Tough album on her iPod and those first notes of The Right Stuff got me hooked again. I actually dug out my old cassettes and then downloaded what wouldn't play anymore. And like you said, hearing them feels like coming home. They feel like innocence and dreams--although Donnie was the leading man of mine. ;) Everytime my sister and I go somewhere together in the car, we always play New Kids. I was at that Magic Summer show too! It was my very first concert ever. I still remember the screams when Donnie took off his shirt to reveal a white tank... I was a Jordan girl, though. ;) I think I'll need to hit iTunes and relive some memories, now!

hey lady!

It's been a while since I've heard from you...Although I can't relate to the NKOTB thing (I was a married mom by then !!) I can put the Hardy Boys (TV show) and Donny Osmond in the right spots and live it myself...LOL (how embarrassing is that?)
By the way, I have a boy (read man) I want to introduce you to (seriously)
