I have a hard time walking away from media of any kind. I can only think of two books in the last six years that I've actively abandoned, vs. put down and picked up later because the moment wasn't right for them then. So I spent today doing wedding prep things with my mom and my aunt, who are in town for the weekend solely for the purpose of this. Today was the first day of wedding dress shopping, which means I spent a bit over an hour being pinned into various things and then staring at myself in a mirror.

So the alternator in my car is dead. Joe was very kind and assisted me generally with getting it to the repair shop, and with transportation whilst it was being fixed.
