My carpal tunnel syndrome is acting up again. I should have known better than to put together all of my in law's furniture AND my daughter's new furniture AND play computer games day in and day out. Where is my brain?

How is it that I manage to hack up my finger with a bread knife? It could probably use a stitch or two, but I'm just going to hope that a bandage and sheer will power will make it heal. That'll teach me to get sloppy and use knives incorrectly.

Sitting up shivering and puking at 4am sick with a cold/bronchitis/flu/pick one/all of the above is just how I planned to spend my morning.

I've still got Aiko's two sisters at my place. I'm not supposed to, but I do. I don't see this as a problem, but O does. He says four cats, a dog, a toddler and two adults are just too much for the space we've got. In any case, that's not my main concern of the moment. Aiko was lethargic the day before yesterday and started vomitting alot - probably 5 times that evening. We ran her to the vets yesterday and she has something in her intestines, a ball of god knows what, but it's not hard like a rock or marble so it should hopefully come out. The vet gave her a shot of antibiotics and another to relax her ( Read more... )
