So me and kokiri85 are doing this sketch-a-day project thing that is, well, kind of working. We've both been pretty busy, so it's sort of not really a daily thing, but I'm hoping that once spring break comes along to catch up, or at least get back on track. Anyway, here are my first five drawings over the past week:

So, I decided to see how well my old scanner works with my new (well, I say new) computer, and it seems to work pretty well, considering. And I scanned some stuff.

After many months of dealing with an art slump, I've started to regain some of my artistic roots. The bad news? My scanner no longer works correctly and I've been denied access to using Photoshop since I don't attend MCAD anymore (in other words, MCAD lent out Photoshop to it's students instead of actually giving them the program they were ( Read more... )

I've been in this drawing slump lately, and, frankly, it sucks. Hard. It's like, deep down, I want to draw, but I just don't feel it, so I will myself to want to draw, but that doesn't work either. Instead, I think about how awesome it would be to have something already drawn, by me, than to have to work through the process of actually drawing ( Read more... )

comes out tomorrow. Man, I am so pumped to see this movie I really hope it doesn't suck. I'm kind of worried because it's overall reviews haven't been too positive, but I kind of see this as a movie where only the fans can be the trusted judges.

I saw Milk last weekend with a friend and, wow, it was terrific. Absolutely brillant. All the actors were so expressively wonderful, the colors and cinematography was fantastic, the real life footage seamlessly intergrated - unf, it was great, posi-tively moving.
