Something tells me being on call at the VA is a lot more tame than being on call at most hospitals. We're not a level 1 trauma center so there's no point in waiting downstairs in the ER. Oh, sweet-heart...I love you too. I was just going catching up on my LJ and read about you and Nate. I'm sorry, hon. I'm so, so sorry you're in that situation. You know, as far as your marriage goes, I think you gave it the old college try, in fact, I think you keep trying as I've been following along, trying to make your life better and go somewhere and he just isn't in parity with you. I think you deserve someone who is more your equal, someone who meets your already high level of maturity. I think you'll find him. But, unless things change miraculously, I doubt that person will be Nate. But I love you and I think about you a lot, even if I don't say a whole lot these days.
