Hmm...
Something tells me being on call at the VA is a lot more tame than being on call at most hospitals. We're not a level 1 trauma center so there's no point in waiting downstairs in the ER. I'm in my call room right now. It's not bad except that it's in a creepy, creepy part of the hospital. I share a bathroom with a potential UNMC student. Now just imagine the not so out of the range of possibility that there is a UNMC student there...and that it's a hot, single girl. Yeah, you get the idea of the potential medical shenningans that could occur. With me, however, that particular possibility is moot. But part of me had wondered where such story elements like J.D. and Eliot from Scrubs hooking up in the call room came from. Now I know. Oh well, I'm going to get some reading done. Nighty niz-ight.
