I get really fed up with people asking me when I left Australia. Not only have I never been there, but I don't think I have vaguest hint of an Australian accent!

i've been accused of being australian several times. i find it very annoying!

When people comment on my accent I generally reply with something along the lines of 'I don';t have an accent, this is what English sounds like when you say it properly.'
