Sandy has arrived in Mount Holly. We're having wind gusts of up to 75 miles per hour and beaucoup de rain. Unlike my old apartment, however, the windows don't fall in, so the water remains conveniently outside. *g* The view through the patio doors is impressive; the grass and trees are dancing and the rain is being driven horizontally into the door

Earlier this afternoon my oldest kid pronounced this an "epic fail of a hurricane." She's not saying that now! You stay safe, too! I'm watching the trees outside my house with a very beady eye. Fortunately we're up a hill and away from the water.
