This was written for a friend, koneko41, and inspired by the Alanis Morrisette song Uninvited, from the soundtrack to the movie City of Angels (lyrics). It is in a formal verse structure of a sestina. twin moons shining
in the near darkness
dark peaks interrupting the light
texture appearing
and smoothing
with my breath
