She began rehab? For having her intestine removed? Rehab for pooping?
That is ludicrous. I remember my grandparents calling and saying, "Don't worry at all, but grandpa had a stroke, just a little one, don't worry." I passed the message along, including the "don't worries," and was then informed: "Hilary, there are no small strokes." And then I realized that some people just don't want to be a bother, even when they're near death, and somehow that's incredibly considerate and inconsiderate at the same time.
