Edward's POV (Love Net)

Mar 30, 2009 20:11

I stared at the computer screen in complete shock.

Hey Sexy,

Guess who’s going to be in LA Feb 13-15? Want to be my Valentine? ;))

B.

I minimized the screen, pushed back from my desk and walked out of my barrack into the bright sunshine. Standing there I pinched the bridge of my nose between my fingers and mentally berated myself.

What the fuck are you ( Read more... )

Great backstory... lindyrb March 31 2009, 16:34:01 UTC
OK, Stellarrose here! That gives us a good feel for where Edward's at emotionally up to that point. The question is, did he go thru with his plans? Ask Tanya officially for a divorce, move out, file papers? I hope to God he did - that he didn't wait until Bella found out in Vegas four months later!!!

It's nice to see inside Edward's head, though I agree with your decision not to post this with the story ( ... )

To be honest, I was never going to write an EPOV at all! It was going to be only BPOV but the scene in the dance club kept coming back to me and Edward was bugging the hell out of me to write out his story... so I did... 7000 words later! lol

Most of those answers are coming in the next LN chapter but I will say that as of now Edward is being honest with Bella. He does not want to be with Tanya and does want a divorce.

I'm glad you picked up on the foreshadowing, I think a lot of ppl missed it :)) And no Edward would never ask Bella to be a kept woman, he doesn't want that and would never ask it of her.

Hope that helped a little!

Hi! This is sixeightshuffle from Twilighted. Sigh. Tsk tsk, Edward. I do feel bad for him, because he's desperately trying to do the right thing, just going about it in the wrong way. What can you do, though? When you want somebody, you want them, and nothing--even the fact that you're married with a child--is going to change that. I enjoyed seeing this from Edward's POV! Great story, I love it.

Thanks! And that's about what it comes down to. But he did flub it up quite a bit! :)) I'm glad you like the story.

It's ok to get worked up, this isn't an easy subject for a lot of ppl. Add to that the beloved Twi characters and it's even a bit more hard :))

Just to clarify, it really wasn't a guilt trip. Edward obviously doesn't want Bella to leave but he knew it wasn't fair of him to ask her to stay due to the situation. He knows there is a good chance Bella won't want to be w/ him any longer.

Thank you for the compliments, it makes me happy that you are getting all the emotions behind everything that is happening. The latest chapter will be up soon :))

FANTASTIC! icrodriguez April 2 2009, 02:49:29 UTC
You absolutely MUST continue this story through Edward's pov! It's completely intoxicating! And also, very necessary. The knowledge that Edward is married, AND STILL LIVING WITH HIS WIFE, causes the reader to not have any trust in Edward. But through Edward's pov, this is remedied. It is heartbreaking and beautiful. Please, oh please, continue with another EPOV chapter. It's fantastic!

Thank you.. there will be at least one more EPOV but I don't want to take too much time away from the principle story (unless you all are willing to wait for updates! lol)

I'm glad you enjoyed it however :))
