several of us from work and former coworkers got together and camped here. We had record highs. Who the fuck thought October in FL was prime camping time? I forget who said it and now they won't admit it, but someone said 'well, we need to camp by October while the weather is still good'. Freakin' amateurs! Many moons ago in Gainesville, maybe 120 or so, a just-starting Sister Hazel opened for a band I was in while they were making the transition from a duo into a band. The guy who fronts the band, Ken Block, is one of nicest people I've ever met. And no doubt, they're good songwriters.

small world! yeah, they've been around awhile now...and he does seem very genuine. Just all around nice guy.

I thought it was cool that they just put all four mics up at the front of the stage and played from there. They moved around a bit and had a good time.
