My dear cousin Ameniel decided that I needed a new look. Apparently she did not feel long hair suited me, so she cut it all off.

I merely went along to humour her, but I feel the change was for the better. For once, the silly girl was actually right.

I feel I should now go spend some time meditating this change.

*stands out in the training yard with his sword, going through some solo drills*

*seems quite intently focused on what he's doing, almost he's gone into a meditative state while doing the exercises (in fact, he probably has)*

*is in the gardens, seated under a tree in a very relaxed stance: legs crossed and arms resting on them, eyes shut*

*chants softly, obviously in a deep meditative state*

*puts his horse in the stables, having returned from his tripNice to be home, as always. I wonder if anything new and horrifying has happened while I was gone? It does seem to be the recent trend. I will have to check on Ameniel in a little while, but first I think some food and a nap are in order ( Read more... )

The rumours have been flying everywhere. Apparantly, Fingon has done something to upset Feanor? And Finrod, only just returned from a trip, was sent off again in the direction of Barad Eithel. I have spent the last few hours essntially trapped in my own chambers, as Ame has been pacing back and forth ranting to me about Fingon and won't let me leave. She seems to be angry with him about something but I have no idea what.
