you can just cut the head off, rub with oil and wrap in foil - no need for the roaster

I make a little pouch of tin foil, and drizzle olive oil on the garlic after I lop the top off ... about 20-30 mins at 400C (ish) does it nicely

Roasted garlic..... mmmmm....... a roaster is nice but not necessary.
