i am so sorry- i'm sorry that you are leaving the home you've called home, and with all you've put into it...all i can hope for is that you get blessed with a place that is equally as good, and that brings you as many memories. dont get overwhelmed, put it in god's hands - what area are you looking to stay in? where do you guys need to move to? my heart and prayers go out to you
I know you are incredibly busy and swamped and probably don't want to dwell on this right now, but there's a part of the story that I'm missing -- If you were paying monthly, how could they foreclose the house? Was it something the broker did wrong? And if so, you have a lawsuit on your hands.
If I could take your suffering away, I'd do it in an instant. I wish I had a house or money to offer you, but as you know I'm paycheck-to-paycheck too.
You are in my thoughts. Know that everything will work out alright.
we are investigating our options. it wasn't the broker, it was the original mortgage company that was at fault. they refused to let the house or the loan be released.
the broker offered the $24K (late fees and the difference over the last 3 months) to get the loan up to date, and the bank refused it.
we're working on looking for a place to live. in the meantime, we're in limbo, packing a bit each day. and tonight, i'm on glass of wine number 2. this is the way i'm dealing right now. have happy thoughts for me, please.
I am so sorry about what has happened to your family. It just shows that bad things can happen even if you do everything right. *hugs* I will pray for you and your family to get through this.
