Today after work, my parents, Peire & I had dinner at Lucy Ho's Oriental Bistro because they're running their 38th Anniversary Special (which means that certain items on their menu are significantly discounted) -- the special goes through Wednesday, so if you're able to do so, I heartily recommend that you take advantage of it. Ooh! Dim sum! I ate at a Lucy Ho's once for lunch and wasn't very impressed, but you know there are a bunch of locations and I honestly couldn't say which one it was.

And ah, Echo & the Bunnymen. When I was in the 6th grade, my first exposure to alternative music was the Pretty in Pink soundtrack. Their song "Bring on the Dancing Horses" was like a revelation. :)

Oh you lucky gal! Our dorm did "Red Red Wine". To this day, I still can't listen to that song I was so sick of it. You just reminded me how fantastic that soundrack is, I haven't listened to it in eons.

Heh, If I could remember the names of anyone in Oldenfeld I'd ask you to say hi. Not that anyone would remember me, I only spent one summer with that crowd. ;)

I actually liked that song, but then again I didn't have to hear it ad nauseum. ;) Tim was in that video too, wasn't he? Was Greta as well?

Well, quite a number of Oldenfelders are friended to me on this journal, so you can say hi here too! But I will inquire if they recall. What year's summer was it that you were here?
