A week had passed since he told Daiki to take him to the orphanage. Yuto sighed. They still hadn't got the chance to visit the orphanage. Daiki was busy with the academy, finals was coming up, and meetings with the student council. Yuto was equally busy himself. The academy is a top-rank, high class school. So, even the food has to be high class. Yuto sighed. Work was done for the day and returned to his room. Taking the mail on his table, he lay on his bed. The mail was sent by Ryutaro. A short, simple mail, but broughta lot of pressure.
"Yuto! I got accepted to Kitagawa Music and Dance Academy. Wait for me. -Yours truly, Ryutaro"
Yuto sighed. He knew Ryutaro still hadn't given up on him, despite what he had told the younger teen. Then, Yuto started thinking about Daiki. If what Daiki told him about his childhood friend, Yu-chan, is true, then why can't Yuto remember anything? He remembered the orphanage, Ogata-sensei, but he couldn't he remember the person he spend his time with during his stay at the orphanage. Whenever he dreamt about it or had flashback, the image was always a blur.
'I hope I'll regain my memories by returning to the orphanage,' Yuto thought.

Takaki banged his head on the table. Yabu, Takaki, Inoo, and Hikaru had just finished their theory lesson. "Remind me again why theory is necessary for us?"
"Theory makes you know more about music," answered Yabu.
"But isn't theory is more for students who are taking other instruments like Inoo or Dai-chan or Shoon, or students who takes classical music like opera? Because...I don't get how theory relates to us who takes modern music."
Inoo sighed. "Just shut up and study, Takaki. Hikaru's not even complaining."
"That's because he's asleep," Takaki pointed out.
Before Inoo could retort, Yamada and Keito joined them.
"Konnichiwa," Keito greeted them as Yamada took a seat beside Takaki and Keito beside Hikaru.
"Finals are coming soon, ne?" Yamada said, looking at the sulking Takaki.
"Yama-chan," Takaki said, leaning down for a kiss, but Yamada held a book between them. Takaki pouted.
"No kisses until you finish your homework," Yamada pointed at the theory book. Inoo smiled as Yabu snickered.
"Hey, is there something between Daiki-kun and Nakajima-kun?" Keito asked.
The others followed Keito's gaze and saw Yuto and Daiki together. "He didn't tell me anything about it," Yamada exclaimed.
"Probably just discussing about food for the feast," Yabu said. The others agreed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Are you free two weeks from now?" Daiki asked.
"I'll find some time," Yuto answered. "Why?"
"Finals will start next week, and ends after a week," Daiki stated. "I'll take you to the orphanage then."
"Sure," Yuto said. After that, both of them finished their drink in silence.

TWO WEEKS LATER
Daiki smiled when a junior high school girl opened the door to the orphanage. "Oh, it's onii-tan," she said. "Everyone, onii-tan's here!" she yelled and in a few seconds, they could here children running down the stairs.
"Onii-chan!!! Ringo cried out as he jumped on Daiki.
Daiki caught her with a smile on his face. "Mou, Ringo-chan! Do you have to be a spoil brat everytime onii-tan comes to visit?" Seira, the girl who opened the door, said.
Ringo stuck out her tongue at the older girl. "Seira nee-chan is just jealous," she said.
Daiki chuckled when he saw Seira fuming. "Alright both of you. That's enough."
Ringo smiled at Daiki. Then, she noticed the person standing behind the shorter guy. "Nii-chan, is that your friend?"
Daiki mentally slapped his head. "Oh yeah," he said. "Let me introduce you, this is a friend of mine from the academy, Nakajima Yuto."
After introducing Yuto to the children, Daiki and Yuto entered the orphanage.
"I heard Da- Yuto!" Ogata-sensei almost dropped to the floor, surprised, if Kira weren't there to support her.
"Sensei, be careful," the young boy said, helping Ogata-sensei stabilized herself. Ignoring Kira, Ogata-sensei went towards Yuto and cupped his cheeks with her hands. "Yu-chan," she said, tears in her eyes as she hugged the tall teenager. "I'm glad you came to visit."
Yuto returned the hug. "It's been awhile, Ogata-sensei."
Ogata-sensei smiled. "Where's Mio?"
Yuto's face darkened a little. "She...she died a few years ago."
Ogata-sensei's expression saddened. "She's such an angelic kid," she said. After a short pause, she said, "Let us have a talk in my office." Yuto nodded his head. Daiki made his way to follow Ogata-sensei and Yuto, as he was also curious, but Ringo and some other children stopped him.
"Onii-chan! Play with us!" the kids cried, pulling Daiki's hands and his shirt.
Daiki sighed. 'Oh well.'
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Takaki and Yamada were having a picnic near the lake. Takaki is sitting on the blanket they sat up, and Yamada is lying down, his head on Takaki's lap.
"Ne, do you remember?" Takaki said out of the blue.
"Hmm?" Yamada replied.
"This is where we first met," Takaki said. Then, he chuckled. Yamada looked up to see Takaki's face.
"What's so funny?" he asked.
"Remember? I thought you were drowning, and tried to save you?" This time, Yamada chuckled.
"Yeah, I remember," said the younger teen.
Takaki leaned down and gave Yamada a peck on his lips. "It's been so long since then, ne?" Takaki looked at the sky.
"Hn~," Yamada replied.

Daiki and Yuto left the orphanage in the evening, after Yuto had a long talk with Ogata-sensei and a tour around the orphanage. The journey back to the orphanage is a slow and silent one. Yuto always looked out the window and Daiki kept stealing glances at the younger teen.
The silence was broken when Daiki suddenly said, "Yu-chan." The taller teen turned to him. Realizing he had said it out loud, Daiki turned beet red. "Uh-Uhm...Gomen, Nakajima-kun," he said, bowing slightly at Yuto. "I didn't realize I said it out loud."
Yuto shook his head. "It's okay."
Daiki said, "Uhm...I'm sorry about your sister."
"It's okay," he said. "It happened a long time ago."
Daiki nodded his head. "Uh, well, I was wondering... why didn't you say anything before?"
Yuto looked at Daiki apologetically. "I'm sorry," he said. "I was told that I have selective amnesia, where some memories from my past are blocked."
Suddenly, they could feel the awkward air between them. Daiki broke the uncomfortable silence between them. "So, what now?"
There was a pregnant pause for a moment before Yuto held out his hand. "From now on, call me Yuto."
"Then...call me Daiki," the older teen said, taking Yuto's hand, smiling.
"Probably, this will make me remember my time at the orphanage," Yuto said with a smile.
"Me too," replied Daiki.

"Okaa-san! I'm home," Ryutaro said after doing some delivery.
"Okaeri," his mother said with a smile on her face. "Why don't you keep those things and help me close up."
While Ryutaro was arranging the chairs and tables, the door opened and a man entered. "I'm sorry, but we're closed," Ryutaro said politely.
"I need to talk to the person in charge with this place," the man said. "I won't take too long."
Ryutaro sighed and called out his parents. Then, Ryutaro told the man to sit at one of the tables, before his parents joined them. Once all of them were seated, the man asked, "Do you know this boy?" he asked, showing a picture to them.
Mrs. Morimoto gasped, looking at her husband. "He's slightly younger there but I'm sure it's Yuto."
"Do you know where Nakajima-kun is?" the man asked.
"He went to Tokyo a few months ago," answered Mr. Morimoto.
"Can you give me a specific location?" asked the man.
Before either his parents could answer, Ryutaro asked, "Why are you asking all of these?"
"No particular reasons." Then, the man added in, "Tell me, where is he."
"We don't know. All we know is he left for Tokyo to earn more money," Ryutaro lied, looking at the man with suspicious eyes.
The man stood up. "Alright," he bowed slightly. "Thank you for your co-operation."
After showing the man to the door, Mr. Morimoto quickly locked it and turned to his son. "Ryutaro, why did you lie to him?"
"I don't trust him," said the younger boy. "I mean, why did he ask about Yuto anyway, and how the heck did he get that picture of Yuto?!"
Mrs. Morimoto massaged her temple with her hand. "I hope Yuto's alright," she said. "This really worries me, and knowing Yuto, even if he's in trouble, he wouldn't tell us about it."
Ryutaro sighed. "I'll look out for Yuto," said Ryutaro.
Mrs. Morimoto smiled at her eldest son. "We know you will."
"That reminds me," Mr. Morimoto said after a short pause. "Have you finished packing your stuff for tomorrow? Seriously, you don't expect us to fly all the way to Tokyo just because you forgot to bring something, right?"
Ryutaro sweat drop comically. "Ah! I haven't finish packing!" he exclaimed, running up to his room, leaving his parents laughing.
