BY THE WAY, THE REASON PEOPLE KEPT MENTIONING GREY'S ANATOMY AT THE BEGINNING IS THE THIRD FANDOM USED TO BE GA AND NOT STAR TREK. 1. This is a friending meme specifically aimed at lurkers who want to branch out and aren't sure how to go about it. If you have more than 20 friends then this probably isn't the place for you. Unless of course you're here to adopt a lurker. Come in, and pick out a bright eyed, bushy tailed Lurker to take home and encourage along the path of recovery and rehabilitation! Lurkers are more than welcome to friend each other as well.
2. Only reply to forms. Do /not/ comment chain. If someone replies to your form, and you want to say thank you, do so in a private message, or comment on their journal. This rule is in place to promote full reform from your condition as a lurker. This is merely a tool to add friends, now go out into that brave new world and be social! Take what you learn from here and use it!
3. As of right now, this friending meme is for the following fandoms: Avatar The Last Airbender, Criminal Minds, and Star Trek XI (see Round 1 for Supernatural, Glee, and Dark Angel). Future rounds are always announced a few days in advance on this journal, and at that time, so will the fandoms it will be serving.
4. If you really can't stand waiting for another round, please /DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN LURKER REHAB FOR ANY OF YOUR OWN FANDOMS/. I realize that no ideas are really safe to call your own once they're outside of your head, but I'd really rather not have people taking from this idea. Please and thank you for your understanding.
5. Last but not least, let's keep this a wank-free zone! I'd like to keep this running with an honor-code system, and just rely on everyone to treat each other right and be kind, friendly people that the Avatar/CM/ST-XI communities can be proud of! Have fun!
