Yoga
I started a yoga class today at a yoga studio in my neighborhood. I purchased 10 classes using a Groupon. I went to the first class this evening and really enjoyed it. It was all about stretches and relaxation. My kind of yoga! I am only going to take the beginner and easy classes until I get the hang of it. -
Hello Anybody Who Remembers Me
I finally feel like posting. Must be the two substantial glasses of good Islay Scotch that got me going. I don't know when I posted last, but it was a long, long time ago. Airport Blues
I made it across the country to be with my Mom. Since i got in very late last night, I will be driving up to see her this morning, I expect to stay at least a week to be there for her, to go through my Dad's things, prepare for the graveside service, and see the lawyers. My Dad Died Today
My Dad died today and I've got nothing else to say. He was 88 and lived an adventurous and storied life. I talked to him on Fathers Day and even got him a card on time for a change. My Mom is distraught and I am leaving tomorrow to be with her and to help her plan his memorial service and deal with all the legal and procedural matters that come ( Read more... ) -
Tidying Up
I don't have a very large friends list and haven't added anybody in ages, mainly because I am mostly on facebook, just because it is so much easier and less time consuming. Juice!
I found an Acme Juicer at a yard sale for $10, so I brought it home, found the manual on the internet and proceeded to experiment with juicing fruits and vegetables. The juicer is in perfect condition. It is fun and the juices are very tasty. I am just starting out but my favorite so far is carrot apple ginger juice. Yum! -
Facebook Has It In For Me
For those of you who are on Facebook and happen to be on my friends' list, my Facebook account has been disabled AGAIN for no apparent reason. I have contacted them and am hopeful that my account will be reenabled soon. In the meantime, it may look like I have blocked you or unfriended you. I have not!
