Hey, Raven.

Sean. Hey. Nice to see you out for once.

What? You expect me to stay inside forever?

So he cruised, a sleek sports car with a striking red paintjob...that was still a bit marred from his sparring match with Ichigo. He might have been able to dream up wax and polish for himself, but apparently the special blends he liked to use still had to be mixed manually.
Which was why, if Raven was the type to notice cars, she might notice that this one seemed to be examining itself in the reflective front windows of a store, jerking forward and back incrementally on his wheels as he fretted over the scuffs and mars in his finish.

And really, what else can Raven be expected to say when she came into contact with not only an absolutely gorgeous car, but one that apparently seemed to move all by itself? Was this just another quirk of the already very strange dream world they were in? Or was this something else completely?
With a bit of caution, but certainly more curiosity than anything else, the blonde approached said car from a distance, watching it. Just to make sure she wasn't seeing things.

To say that he was feeling a little self-conscious was an understatement.
So when he did finally realize there was a squishy in the vicinity and that it had been watching him, he did something a bit unprecedented. Engine grumbling, he turned himself three-quarters to the organic-- his most attractive angle in this alt-- and asked, "Like what you see?" His voice was deep, and perfectly clear despite the ambient noise of his engine.
If the question came out a little aggressive, well, he was feeling a little vulnerable.

Smiling, because it was always important to be polite (especially to things she doesn't completely understand), the blonde gave a small nod of her head before taking another delicate step forward. Marred or not, Raven couldn't deny that he was the most strikingly beautiful car she had ever seen.
"Yeah, I really think I do."

He notices the blonde after a moment, and something rings familiar about her. The only blonde he's met here so far has been Rapunzel, as far as he recalls, and so he wonders if maybe it's someone from home. Not Sumeragi, since this girl is too tall for that - Akito would barely reach her elbows - and not Ine. He runs through a short list of anyone else it could be and comes up with nothing.]

Even if she may not be in the best of moods for socialization, the distraction may be just what she needs.]

Ah... Hi.

Don't you remember me? Raven.

He had situated himself to sit out in the yard, against one of the trees. His wheelchair was beside him, an ever faithful companion, but he hated sitting in it all the time. His head was leaned back against the tree, eyes closed, with the PORTAL in his lap. It was a bit of a cat nap, though the sound of Raven's thoughts stirred him from it. Charles raised his head and looked down the small gravel pathway, expecting to find the blue skinned woman and found her fair skin and blond haired disguise instead.
Saying he was surprised was a bit of an understatement.

Raven's thoughts were obviously in a troubled whirl at the present moment given just who was on her mind, but the young woman still managed a small smile before approaching her brother. "Mind if I join you? It looks nice under there."

He put his hands on the ground and shifted himself over. His legs dragged a little, but, there wasn't much he could do about that. Despite it, he offered her a smile and gave a pat to the grass beside him.

"Good." She bumped against his side gently in a playful way. "I like to think of the Mansion like it is partially mine after all of my years here, so I will just include all of the lawn in that ownership too."

Back to this look, huh?
Not surprised.
[It sounds condescending. Because it is. Alex never had a problem with either form she chose--but he just didn't get why it had to be so influenced by someone. Instead of coming from inside.]

Though her head perks up at Alex's approach, her own frown comes quickly at his words.]
Not all of us could be born looking normal.
Reply
Yeah well newsflash, Raven. None of us are normal.
[He crosses his arms over his chest. He can't stand how she acts like being naturally blue some horrible burden. Her mutation doesn't kill loved ones. It just makes her look like a smurf.]

I just didn't need the attention today, okay? I didn't want to be bothered by the usual questions that come with it.
