[She's a nurturer, what can she say, and it's just a terrible pity to see someone not enjoying themselves when there's all sorts of fun to be had. She's bundled up very nicely in an excessive fur coat and she had on a pair of lovely dyed leather gloves as she offers out the warm cider she'd gotten from up the beach.]

[blunderbussed]

[He turns at the voice, and very nearly does a double take once he sees who it belongs to. He'd known of the presence of another one in the city who shared his face, but this was... Could this really be that person?

It took a moment of serious contemplation before he noticed the cider.] Is that for me?

[Her eyebrows go up as he takes his time in considering her. She's used to the reaction, but she thought she'd done a perfectly good job of going full femme today... She lifts one hand to preen at her wig thoughtfully.]

[She offers him a pleasant enough smile, tone hopeful.]

[He eyes it carefully before taking it, and nods to her.] Thank you. [But he doesn't drink from it just yet.]

I had been under the impression that Heda Genero was a man. [He keeps watching her, studying her reaction.]

[Her eyebrows go even higher.]

[But hey. Wonderful, she didn't feel quite so self-conscious now.]

[At that, Dobryn raises an eyebrow of his own.]

[mitzigaynor]

[She offers out her hand to shake gamely.]

Kitten Braden, actually. Lovely to meet you.

[blunderbussed]

And you as well, ser Brayden. [He takes her hand and shakes, this time regarding her with some amount of curiosity.] I had not expected my face to be worn by a woman in this city, as well.

[Ahaha... well. Kitten gives a little laugh, even if it rings a bit forced.]

Well, I suppose it speaks well of us both that it comes out so nicely. Amazing what a dress and a little makeup can do.

[blunderbussed]

So it is. [Dobryn looks her over once again. Something seems unusual here, but just what...]

Might I ask of your species, ser?

[mitzigaynor]

My species... oh that's very Dr. Who, I really do love this place sometimes.

[It was so much nicer than people constantly going 'Christ, you're a bloke.' At her.]

[How strange. Certainly there was some odd quality of androgyny to her, much like his own, that he had not seen matched by humans, but - well.]

Is it? I've rather been enjoying all the freaks and geeks around, it's so much less lonely.

[blunderbussed]

[Ah, there it is. He should have been expecting something of similar sentiment sooner or later. Still, though, he continues to smile.]

[She gives him a curious look, totally innocent and earnestly curious.]

Where are you from, darling? I'm terribly interested, you know. If I could get off my rock I'd do it in a heartbeat, I really would.

[blunderbussed]

A nation called Harstide - ah, but the world itself is called Tierrhagan. [His tongue rolls on the "r," and he gives a dry laugh.] I'm not so sure one could call it terribly interesting, really.
