[The derisive snort is plainly visible on his face when he finishes that double-take and frown at what the young man is doing to the younger boys and girls.

[He is an overgrown child, Lou, and when he hears your snort, he turns and tosses a piece of candy into your face.]

[The reflexes are late but they're there; the piece of candy successfully connects with his forehead and drops into startled and clumsy hands. He picks it up properly from his open palm, brows stuck somewhere in a half-frown before he shows it to Zinc (a silent and ironic 'thanks, buddy') and proceeds to make it disappear in his mouth. Omnom.]

[Zinc smiles lazily.]

[It'd be irresponsible to give it back to one after it's been through a set of sweaty hands, obviously. Ew.]

[He looks down, grinning, something short of a quiet laugh. Lou doesn't really care for children, so he's reaching for his precious cigarettes with or without them around.]

[He agrees with that easily, a hand raking back through his hair boredly. It's fine with him if Lou wants to choke the little fuckers.]

Not particularly.

[A few pieces of candy get popped into his mouth. Sugar sugar sugar.]

And they've plenty to share.

Makes you wonder why they aren't, then, right?

[Oh, cruel creatures, forcing poor little Zinc to bypass the process.

[He tilts his head to the side with arched eyebrows in a quick movement to concede, in some way, taking the first drag.]

I doubt a rocket scientist would think it's a good idea to stuff children with sugar anyway.
