I just watched the NY Philharmonic play in North Korea.  The orchestral arrangement of Arirang was beyond incredible and moving.  The single piccolo in an echoing sea with the gentle fall of the harp almost made me cry.  I love those strange sliding notes in alot of Asian folk music.  The steps of sound in between, the curve between each note.

I went to Dances of Vice (Rasputina show) in this.  The back has some feather detailing and coat tails (like a riding coat).  I was too lazy to set up the 3 lights, so I just used one.  Those are for real riding boots on my feet and they are not broken in.  >_<

My first thought upon picking up the US version of the Gothic and Lolita Bible was, “This is $19.99?”  The magazine has an ISBN number, taking it out of the magazine market, and with such a hefty price tag why didn’t Tokyopop spend a little more on the quality?  The cover is just heavier weight paper with some gloss and the matte paper inside gives ( Read more... )
