after my ramblings yesterday, now i got news from Rosita that actually are hard to believe.

Seems like 5 people have been killed until last night (4 of them yesterday, one already on friday). obviously for political motives (there are elections coming up this year in november and nobody really knows how heated up the situation will be

i have heard now that only two had been killed, the rest were rumours to provoke and spread panic!!

oh dear, that is awful...:( and such a shame about not being able to do fieldwork now, too...hope the situation will settle down there.

for the time being. it turned out that there were "just" two dead bodies, the rest were lies to scare people. but still doesn't make me feel much safer.
