The fun thing about fandom is getting to meet people who have such very different lives from my own. I've always thought that LARPing sounded super fun! What kind of stuff do you usually do for that?

You are making an important point! :-D Because even if you start out taking 'just' fandom stuff, it soon ends up somewhere else totally. :-)

LARPing is amazingly fun! You get to be someone else for a while, and as a mother and working fulltime as a librarian, it's just so damn nice to shed that and be... a murderous vampire or a silly vampire or something else for an evening. :-D Also, I've gotten some of my best friends while being involved in various LARPs. :-)

When LARPing I have a small sheet of paper where all the skills and abilities of my character is on, so I won't forget. :-) And then I dress up. Makeup, clothes... how I move and talk... The works. And then I act the character out against other characters that my friends play. :-D

No one and I mean NO ONE, is more surprised than I am, on how this thing took off. Even though, it's been great, I'm glad I finally closed it before what little is left of my mind totally disappeared.

Your mom sounds like she would be great fun to hang with. I have several sibs that have no filter and life with them is never dull.

I'm actually being asked about the meme on Twitter now... X-D By steinsgrrl. :-) I think though that it was a good idea to close it down, since it really ended up somewhat insane there for a while. *lol*

My mom is batshit, but very caring and loving. :-) I only have my one brother though, but he does tend to go batshit in all the good ways to on occasion. :-D

Endo is the worst :( It causes me so many issues. I'm glad you managed to have your girl eventually :)

Or so you think... There's always someone somewhere who knows about fic you think are buried or who amuses themselves with digging it out... Dun Dun DUUUUN! X-D Once something is online, it's never gone. ;-D

I've learned to live with my Endo. I've never seen it as anything special or hugely bad. Until I started IVF and the doctor told I had a pretty bad case. My reaction 'I do? *surprised*' *lol* I can keep it under control with painmeds 2-3 days a month, so... It doesn't effect my everyday life.

I know it is out there but at least my 'identity' from then would be very difficult to connect to me now. If it is still there amusing someone then great.

So lucky. I need to take meds every few days and I often get mini cysts which burst before the Dr can open me up to look. They spotted it when they put me under to insert a coil implant to treat it. Its on my intestines so gets all involved in my bathroom habits. I'm really glad that I don't want to have children because Dr thinks with how bad that is and all my other illness it would take a miracle to conceive.

Oh my gawd... Then you are far worse off then me. :-/ I've had twisted intestines/gastric volvulus once, but that's about it there. :-/ Was because I was off the Pill trying to get pregnant (even though we knew it wouldn't work) and waiting to get the IVF.
