A town full of librarians sounds brilliant! And so does your vampire LARP. It's worrying these days, when you can't find people you used to know by googling them - it makes one fear the worst.

Considering the specialization at the University there's a shitton of librarians and a shitton of those interested in or working with textile and fashion in one form or another. :-)

It is quite amazing, isn't it? Suddenly from one page to several pages of people! I'm enjoying it actually, it's inspiring.

Robin of Sherwood! So many people on my Flist love that show, I really must actually get on with watching it (I've seen about four/five episodes and love it but keep trying to watch too many things at once ...) And Xena! Likewise, I've seen a wonderful season and keep meaning to get on with it.

Buffy however, I've actually watched all the way through and adore. Likewise Pirates of the Carribean (I actually didn't totally hate the fourth but I was watching it in a happy Christmas haze and was just all "If it makes me laugh, I don't care about anything else." and it did. Haven't quite dared rewatch though ...)

LARPing! I miss role-play so much. :)

AH! Someone who knows what Robin of Sherwood is!!! HAPPINESS! It's an old old show, but man. I ADORE IT! Ever since I first laid eyes on that show, I was so so hooked. And have been since. So is my best friend. :-D Same thing with Xena to be honest. I've watched that show more times than I can count. When I was unemplyed I kept rewatching my DVD-box back and forth. I even had the series on VHS tapes, but I did sell them eventually when I'd replaced htem. :-)

Buffy and Pirates, well... I love them both. Very very much! But there's just to much that rubs me the wrong way with the forth Pirates movie. Which makes me all nervous about the fifth movie, although I am beyond happy that Captain Will Turner is going to return. ;-D

Why, thank you! :-D I had another LJ-friend who managed an adult store, was a single mother to. But she's lately started studying so she don't have no time for LJ anymore. Such is life. :-)

You're right though. 50ShadesOfShit is just annoying the hell out of me. The WORST book I've ever read! Even beats Twilight, although it IS close. Fanfic is far better and usually far better researched to.

It IS an amazing show, to be honest! I didn't involve myself much, I just kept sneaking around looking at pretty fanart and reading a fanfic here and there. :-)
