FIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIITZ. I am SO EXCITED.

He does sort of sound the part, too. The voice in my head is a little more raspy, though, all those cigarettes. The thing that worries me the most is the HISTORY. Eight and Fitz have so much HISTORY, they're so deep in each other's pockets, and if they can't communicate that connection, I have a feeling I'll be disappointed.

I'm kind of worried about that, too. They might be afraid of alienating newbies by having Fitz and Eight just sort of... they'd get on each other's nerves more if they didn't know each other so well. If you didn't know about them, you'd expect the Doctor to be peeved by a companion who, say, can't shut up and enjoy an ice planet, nooo, he's got to whinge about how he can't feel his toes and wants some hot toddy. But the Doctor knows it's just kind of a habit and it doesn't mean Fitz isn't appreciative of things. And you'd think someone who's whiny and sarcastic a lot of the time wouldn't put up with Eight's shenanigans. They just act so married...
