I found a puppy waiting outside my apartment for me. This isn't the oddest thing that's happened in this town but somehow, still puzzling.

I shall call him "Ullr".

Someone has tampered with my air conditioners. Again.

For the last time:

1) I am not Chinese
2) I don't care about anime.
3) Yes, I did see those ghosts at the festival.

While the ghosts didn't hurt anyone, it was highly strange. Perhaps someone with a background in this field should look into it. They don't particularly bother me but so many restless spirits can't be a good sign.

Since we all seem to be able to hear each other, we should have some common courtesy. That means absolutely no screaming in your mind when some of us are trying to work.

It's snowing. In July.

Apparently, Obon has come early this year since I see people floating paper boats with candles near a stream.

These people thought I was Chinese. How could they possible know about such a festival?

I've taken to using a typewriter since the internet is permanently down. There was life before the world wide web but I must confess it was very convenient for research and amusing sites like www.stuffonmycat.com and internet poker.
