This past monday was the one year anniversary of my mother's passing. It's hard to believe that it's been one year. So much has happened this past year. Not a day goes by that I don't think of her. Ok today just sucked. Mondays always kind of suck because it's the first day back to work. Work was hectic- Tornado watch for most of the day- Mechanical issues left and right due to the lightning storms. Then when the sun finally comes out.. I turn into a freaking vampire! It's been two weeks today that my mother passed away. It's been really tough the past two months and Mom is now without pain. God has decided it was time for her to come home. She passed away peacefully in a Hospice home. I have so much respect for the people at Hospice. They took wonderful care of my mother.

Ok.. here's and update..  Mom is  in a lot less pain now.. the radiation plus pain killers seems to be helping with the bone cancer.  We have hospice involved ..which is a huge blessing..  They have been absolutely wonderful.  I was also called by my mom's doctor's office... not good news.. they beleive that her brain tumors have grown.. and ( Read more... )
